The Traveller Bar: Beyond the Glass at Loews Hotels

Recently Carol Stigger, Community Contributor for The Chicago Tribune, visited the Loews O’Hare Hotel. While there she was fortunate enough to stumble across the Loews new Traveller Bar, a sort of pop-up bar that is traveling from city to city educating guests about the history of the cocktail.

Designed like a speakeasy, the bar includes 50 vintage books about cocktails, spirits, and tending bar. There are 32 period cocktails you can choose from while perusing digitized pages of the vintage books on one of the bar’s four iPads.
