National Margarita Day, February 22nd
National Margarita Day is coming up on Sunday, February 22nd, and we wanted to share some new recipes from Milagro Tequila Brand Ambassador Jaime Salas to sip on and celebrate with.
A survey conducted by Milagro Tequila found that 91% of people prefer margaritas fresh as opposed to with a pre-packaged mix. Staying true to Milagro’s dedication to focusing on the heart of the spirit, the agave plant, these margarita recipes, created by Jaime Salas, are a combination of fresh lime juice and fresh and unique ingredients to produce fun twists on the traditional margarita.
From avocado, cucumber, pineapple and watermelon to cilantro and sriracha, the common thread in these margaritas is that they focus on Incorporating fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs. Additionally, this year National Margarita Day happens to fall on the same night as the Oscars, so we’ve included below a sparkling celebratory cocktail to enjoy while watching the show.
Please see below for five Milagro margarita recipes, some blended, some on the rocks, with and without salt, a couple with added spice, and all with the freshest of ingredients.
